Competitive Crankshafts is a 2-stroke crankshaft specialist based in Garden City, Idaho, just outside Boise. The shop does one thing and does it seriously: rebuilding the crankshafts that take a beating at high RPM, so they come back dead-true and ready to run hard. Their motto says it plainly — crankshafts, rebuilt to run hard — and every assembly that leaves the bench is proudly rebuilt in the USA.
The shop works across three families of 2-stroke machines, with flat-rate pricing by make and model:
Competitive Crankshafts keeps it straightforward and mail-in friendly. Riders reach out for a quote and shipping details, then pull the crank — or send the whole bottom end — to the shop. Each crank is fully torn down and inspected; worn rods, bearings and seals are replaced, welding is done where needed, and the assembly is pressed, trued and balanced. Before anything ships back, every crankshaft is measured for runout and checked so it is ready to drop in and run.
That mail-in service means a rider anywhere in the country can get a professional 2-stroke rebuild without living near the shop, while local riders around Boise are welcome to reach out directly.
In jet ski racing, the bottom end is the heart of the engine. A crank that is out of true robs power, shakes the motor and can end a race weekend early. Team Goatcher Racing's 2-stroke riders depend on engines that survive heat after heat at full throttle, and a precisely rebuilt crankshaft is a big part of that reliability.
Competitive Crankshafts is a proud partner of our 2-stroke riders, helping keep their machines strong, smooth and on the start line all season long. Together We Win.
