The Partners Behind Team Goatcher Racing
Look closely at any race ski in the Team Goatcher pit and you will see more than a number. You will see the names of the businesses that help put that ski on the start line. Fuel, oil, parts, seats, impellers, eyewear, pit carts, radios, insurance, signage, design, and yes, tacos. Every one of those names represents a real relationship and a real reason a rider made it to the next race.
This story is a thank-you to the partners who back the team today, and an honest look at what sponsorship means in a sport like closed course jet ski racing.
Racing is a team sport, even when one rider is on the ski
From the shore, jet ski racing looks like an individual sport. One rider, one machine, one gate drop. Behind that moment is a long chain of support. Skis have to be built, maintained and repaired between motos. Riders need safe gear. Families need to get to the venue, set up a pit and survive a long weekend in the sun. Entry fees, travel, fuel and parts add up quickly, especially across a full season that can include regional series, the IHRA World Cup and the IJSBA World Finals at Lake Havasu.
That is why we say Together We Win. Results on Events & results are earned on the water, but they are made possible by everyone off it, and our partners are a big part of everyone.
The brands on our skis
Our current partner list is broad, and every name on it has its own page so you can learn what they do and how to support them. Here is a quick tour, in the partners' own words where they have them.
Parts, performance and machines. Blowsion has been in jet ski parts and accessories since 1989. Leading Edge Impellers sums itself up simply: "We know impellers," with more than 35 years behind it. Fast Powersports works in performance watercraft, and its branding rides on the deck of Parker Toth's F16. VSS Racing, Works H2O, Competitive Crankshafts and Lehr Performance Watercraft round out the performance side of the list.
Fluids and protection. Maxima Racing Oil describes itself as race-inspired and product driven. Jet Pilot lives "above the waterline" with gear for riders. Bomber Eyewear makes floating eyewear and safety glasses, a practical choice for a sport that happens on the water.
Comfort and the pit. Jettrim makes custom seat covers and mats. Sandhopper builds beach and pit carts, the unsung heroes of any race weekend. Flex Racing supplies custom pit materials, and Cart Addictions and Tasco are among our newer partners. PCI Race Radios, "the original communications company," keeps people connected.
Business, design and community. Pacific Coast Sign Supply promises "your vision, our supply." BP Concepts is about big ideas with real impact. Quote Hub Insurance offers fast, convenient, personalized insurance. Flow State Recovery and Bove's are part of the family too.
And the pit favorite. Amigos Birria Tacos, with its line "You have never had a taco like this!" is proof that sponsorship does not have to come from inside the industry. Local businesses belong in this sport as much as parts makers do.
You can see every logo in one place on Partner with Team Goatcher.
What a partner actually gets
We built our partner page around three simple ideas, and they are worth repeating here because they are what separates a real partnership from a logo on a sticker sheet.
On-water exposure. Your brand travels on skis, gear and the pit setup at every event the team attends. Racing draws dedicated crowds of riders, families and fans who care about the brands that support their sport.
Digital and social reach. Every rider has a dedicated profile page on this site built specifically to attract and showcase sponsors, and every partner has a dedicated page of their own. Team news, race reports and social posts give partners steady visibility through the season, not just on one race day.
Media and content. Race weekends produce photos and stories, and partners are part of them. Our riders, their families and their crews share that content widely.
Underneath all three is something that is harder to put in a bullet point: association with a team that has a clear identity. Team Goatcher is led by Haulin' Harry Goatcher, a professional racer since the late 1980s whose story you can read on The Legacy. The team exists to support the next generation, and partners who join are backing that mission directly.
Why small support goes a long way
One of the best examples of what sponsorship can do comes from inside our own roster. Louie Venditto got into racing in 2018 when Retro Racing offered to cover entry fees for a first-time racer. He had five days to prepare and no ride gear. He did well, came back, and never stopped. Today his son Jake races with the team too, and the whole family is in the pit.
That is the return on a single entry fee. Not every partnership needs to be large to matter. Covering an entry, supplying a part, providing pit gear or simply feeding a hungry crew can be the difference between a rider making a race or staying home.
How the riders give back
Our riders know who is behind them. You will see partner names on their skis and gear, and many riders mention their partners on their own channels. Each rider page on The riders. The machines. is set up to show who backs that rider and what the rider offers in return, which makes it easy for a new partner to see exactly where their support goes.
The team also values the people who make the sport work: coaches, mechanics, photographers and families. Partners become part of that community, not just customers of it.
